Friendly and helpful staff without being intrusive was a pleasant change from many Florida resorts. This was one of the most relaxing vacations I've ever had. Everything you could possibly want is within walking distance, so you can enjoy night life, music, food, as well as the beach, the pool (with poolside bar), or the spa. I loved just sitting on the balcony, listening to the music while people watching, but nothing comes close to watching the sunset over the Gulf from our private balcony.

This is a 3 star hotel located in a 5 star location. The beach is beautiful and the sunsets are breathtaking. So, if you are looking for a 5 star SPA experience, this is not the hotel for you. If you are looking for 3 star hotel prices, this is not the hotel for you, you will be charged like a resort. But if you can enjoy a 5 star beach location and don’t mind a 3 star room, you will have a great time. Beach rentals are for the full day from 7am to 7pm. You can go in the morning, leave to have lunch and come back for the sunset. We think it was worth it $110 for a cabana and 2 chairs. Beach rental prices: -Full Beach Package is $251 -Beach Cabana $50 -Beach Umbrella $33 -Reclining Lounge Chair $29

I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The service was excellent, especially from a staff member named Dafny, I think that was her name, who was professional, warm, and consistently helpful throughout my stay. From check-in to check-out, she ensured everything went smoothly and was always available to assist when needed. The room was satisfactory, the hotel is well located, and the private beach is a great advantage. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would recommend this hotel to others.

Shoutout to Sarah at the front desk! She was absolutely amazing and made our stay so special. When we let her know our first room had a mildew smell, she quickly helped us switch rooms with no hassle at all. She also took the time to recommend great restaurants and fun things to do around the area, which we really appreciated. On top of everything, it was my husband’s birthday, and Sarah helped make the experience even more special and memorable. Because of her kindness and great customer service, our stay was the absolute best. Thank you, Sarah, for going above and beyond — Hilton is lucky to have you!

The entire stay was wonderful from check in to check out! Staff was warm and inviting, accomodations were fantastic....the resort even decorated our room with complimentary champagne, rose petals and anniversary banner for our 20th wedding anniversary! Beautiful views and convenience of everything walkable distance. One night was just not long enough! Glad to be a Hilton member, thank you for an incredible stay!

The resort is very well situated in the middle of everything on a powdery sandy beach (great beach!). Valet parking only (no free parking spaces) will set you back $29 as of the writing of this review. Generally a well appointed hotel with super friendly staff. The rooms are fine (agree with most reviews that the beds in the two bed rooms are full size, not queen). I did not find my room run down (it as nice) and thought the bathroom was very nice. The restaurants are very good. The Spotted Donkey had excellent Mexican food and the lobby bar/restaurant was also very good, with terrific outdoor seating overlooking the beach and Gulf (stay for the sunset). Tommy's Tikki bar was great, with Adirondack chairs and music to listen to while you watch the sunset. Right on the beach. Very nice. The pool was nice albeit a bit small and can get crowded. The pool bar is a nice place to sit for drinks and food as well. There were some issues, though. First, they did not automatically provide my $30 daily food and beverage credit. I had to ask, which means if I forgot i would not have received it. Not good and not sure why the system didn't work. Second, there is a daily resort fee of $35 as of this writing, but the fee DOES NOT include beach chairs. How is that possible. For a resort that proclaims itself to be a beach resort to charge almost $75 per day for two chairs and an umbrella is shameful. I understand charging extra for a day bed and cabana, but come on. Especially since the guy right next store charges $50 (with tip), which is still high. The other resorts nearby do not charge guests. Also, the resort fee itself is covers stuff that would normally be included anyway (wifi, beach toys, towels, two bottles of water per day). Oh, and 10% off retail products you buy at the spa. Thanks. It also includes bike rentals for an hour at a time. Also thanks--maybe charge for the bikes that barely get used and give the chairs complimentary as a resort should do. Unfortunately, given this ridiculous chair charge/resort fee that covers barely anything, I cannot give this hotel five stars, especially too given the room rates can get quite high, especially during high season. So be careful. Add an extra $35 per day, plus tax, resort fee to the rate and, if you drive, an extra $29 per day for valet parking. On the other hand, the stay will be quite pleasant, you will not need to drive anywhere (everything a short walk away) and the beach is amazing (you can bring your own chairs, just put them close to the water or on the side of the property).

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Truly Exceptional Stay at Hilton Clearwater Beach Resort & Spa From the moment I began the reservation process for my son’s 13th birthday celebration, the team at Hilton Clearwater Beach Resort & Spa demonstrated a level of warmth, professionalism, and genuine care that far exceeded my expectations. Trisha was the first person I spoke with, and she immediately set the tone for an extraordinary visit. I had hoped to check in early because my son had his heart set on room 970, yet the app would not allow it. She kindly explained that it was due to the cardholder’s name not matching mine, but despite that, she graciously held the room for us. Her thoughtful gesture truly made my son’s day before we even stepped foot on the property. Upon our arrival, Nicole and Christina greeted us with exceptional kindness and patience. I felt uneasy at first because I needed to split the payment between two cards mine and my parents’, as they were helping contribute to the stay, including the room, parking, resort fees, and breakfast. Even though it became slightly confusing, Nicole reassured me with such grace, letting me know it was absolutely no problem. Ultimately, to make things easier, I chose to pay in cash and my mom used her card for the remaining charges but the understanding and compassion Nicole showed during the process meant so much. Then, to our surprise and delight, Nicole arranged a beautiful birthday basket for my son and had it delivered to our room along with a card. It was such a thoughtful and touching gesture that made him feel truly celebrated. Wanting to honor my mom as well since we were celebrating her birthday too I asked if it might be possible to create something special for her. Christina immediately said “Of course!” without hesitation, even inquiring about what my mom likes. When I mentioned champagne and wine, she smiled and said she’d take care of it. That level of personalized attention is something you can’t teach; it comes from genuinely caring about guests. Every single interaction, from booking to check-in to our time on property, has been filled with kindness, professionalism, and sincere hospitality. The staff here doesn’t just provide service they create memorable experiences. They made both my son and my mom feel celebrated, and they made me feel supported and welcomed during a very meaningful stay. I am truly grateful to Trisha, Nicole, and Christina for going above and beyond in ways that we will never forget. Hilton Clearwater Beach Resort & Spa is not just a beautiful destination it is a place filled with extraordinary people who elevate every moment. We will absolutely be returning. Thank you for making our celebration so unforgettable.
